who is this course for?

This course is designed for any person who loves kids and wants to guide children in yogic practices. There are no pre-requisites for the course as this is a specialized training  for teaching children of all ages yoga, mindfulness and meditation. The course is recommended for classroom teachers, PE teachers, yoga instructors who want to specialize in kids yoga, care givers, athletic coaches, parents and anyone who loves working with kids. 


how do I register and pay for the training?

  1. Complete the Registration Form on our web site and send your $500 non-refundable deposit (or payment in full) thru Zelle, Venmo or PayPal to danielleradl@mac.com. See Registration page for pricing.

  2. We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express (additional $75 service charge) via paypal.

  3. Payment plan available at regular pricing-register to set up payments prior to course beginning.

  4. You can expect a confirmation email within 48 hours. If you do not hear back from us within that time period, it is possible we did not receive your on-line registration. Please call or email to confirm that we have received it to kidstoteensyoga@gmail.com

  5. Final Payments are due May 15.

  6. Please send us your travel itinerary (we recommend purchasing travel insurance) by June 1. We can help coordinate your airport transportation needs (transportation is not included in tuition). Airport shuttle services can be acquired from both Liberia and San Jose Airports only at specific times and are not guaranteed to have space. We can arrange group and private shuttle services from the Liberia and San Jose Airports the day before program begins and the day after program ends, if your flight coordinates with other participants. Private cabs can also be arranged, typically $150 to/from Liberia and $280 to/from San Jose (1-4 person shuttle).

  7. No Covid testing is required at this time to enter Costa Rica.


how to I get to Nosara?

Book your flight

LIBERIA: The closest international airport to Nosara is the Daniel Oduber Airport (LIR) located in Liberia. We recommend that you book your flight into this location as it is closer.
Your second option is to fly into Juan Santa Maria Airport (SJO), located near the capital city of San Jose in the Central Valley.  (5 hour drive to Nosara).

Book your transportation

We can assist you with shuttle service the day before and after program begins/ends. Email your itinerary to kidstoteensyoga@gmail.com and we will make the arrangements. We can also refer you to shuttle service. 

The drive from Liberia takes 2-3 hours. The Shuttle price is $160 one-way. 

The drive from San Jose takes 4-6 hours. The Shuttle price varies but is usually $280 -$320 one way. You may also take a commuter flight from San Jose (SJO) or Liberia (LIR) to Nosara on www.flysansa.com.


when should I arrive and depart? 

Please arrive at least the day before program/training begins and schedule your departure the day after training ends. 

Orientation /Opening Circle begins on June 30 at 5:30pm. Please allow enough time to participate. Check into Casa Radl will be all day June 30 prior to 5:00 pm.


what is the daily schedule? 

The typical schedule is listed below (subject to change). 

  • 6:00 – 8:00am - Morning Sadhana Personal Yoga Practice

  • 8:00 – 9:30am  - Group breakfast + Free Time- integration/projects/meditation/community

  • 9:30 – 1:30 - Morning Session-theory

  • 1:30 – 2:30 - group lunch

  • 3:30-5:30pm Afternoon sessions + Free Time-integration/projects some days tbd

    *2 days of training will be observation kids classes

  • 5:30-6:30pm Sunset, prepare for dinner (free time)

  • 6:30– 8:00 Some Evening Sessions tbd / group dinners/ projects /

what should I bring with me?

  • Passport (your passport must not be due to expire sooner than 6 months from entry date into Costa Rica)

  • Pool goggles (optional)

  • Insect repellant

  • Medications + First aid supplies (just in case)

  • Bathing suits

  • Clothing for warm weather (80’s and humid)

  • Yoga clothes

  • Walking shoes

  • Sandals/Flip-Flops

  • Notebook & pen

  • Something special to wear for graduation

  • Small umbrella

    *Men: shirts are required in yoga class.

We highly recommend that you stay with us in our ashram style compound with a 2 minute walk to the pristine beach of Playa Guiones. This will enhance your yoga training experience enjoying all the amenities that nurture the soul while you dive deep into your yogic inquiry.  Everything is taken care of so you can focus on your studies and support yourself through this time of transformation. Enjoy an afternoon swim in our pool, stroll to the beach for a dip in the Pacific, soak up the lush landscape as you contemplate your teachings of the day.  Dine with your fellow students and nourish yourself with our amazing meals. We will provide a restful home for you along your yoga journey and offer you the upmost comfort during your training.
